Scene 1 Raylene, Maddy O’Reilly

With Raylene playing the object of desire to young Maddy, this series is relatable on many different levels. It’s also well shot, edited, the story is interesting and feels fresh. I liked how at the end of Laly’s and Maddy’s scene the film didn’t end there. Maddy confronts Raylene after what Maddy tried to pull off and they end up tying that very crucial loose end. Still, there can be more added to this story with more characters introduced into the mix or exploring the desires of the other cast members in future installments. Either way, Girlfriends has a definite winner here. Raylene and Maddy work really well together and have really terrific chemistry and definitely create magic on screen. Girlfriends Films usually does a fine job of casting performers together but here they have a game winning homerun. Lesbian Sitters is the first great film to come from the studio this year and it has earned itself a Highly Recommended rating.
