Audio/Video Quality: Jack's Asian Adventure 4 was presented in 1.78:1 anamorphic widescreen color as shot by director Robby D. for Digital Playground using the MPEG-2 codec in the standard definition release with a 480 resolution while the Blu-ray high definition release sported a more fetching 1080p. The lighting was pretty solid here, as expected given this was Robby's standard type of gonzo, and that meant that the limited amounts of grain and other visual elements used to lend a sense of texture were minimal. While I generally prefer stronger lighting in my gonzo porn, Robby provided a lot of clarity on all but the last scene this time, the indoor location adequately lit (though not perfectly). The way the scenes were shot and edited was markedly similar in the scenes, though the composition of the angles was changed up a bit depending on the scene in question; providing a variety of styles to enjoy. The composition of the shots and the editing enhanced the look of the ladies more than a little bit too, proving what this critic has to say about the production team led by Robby, "Not Nick P XXX" on the editing board this time. The DVD mastering showed no obvious compression artifacts; the bitrate varying but often staying around the 6.3 Mbps range (for SD; 20.1 Mbps on the high definition) when I paid attention but this was not his clearest effort to date. This one didn't look quite as polished as other recent titles but a quick look at the production date gave me the impression that some of this was shot quite a while back and looked much like the titles shot concurrently. The audio was presented in a 5.1 Dolby Digital Surround English (using an audio bitrate of 448 Kbps and the usual 48 kHz sampling rate) with a minimalist leaning similar to the rest of the Jack series, with the vocals always dominating the audio track as I like it. While there wasn't much separation between the channels though the ladies were almost always clearly heard and their moans added to the enjoyment of the show for those keeping track.

Summary: Jack's Asian Adventure 4 by director Robby D. for Digital Playground started off strongly but kind of fizzled out a little, still easily earning a rating of Recommended by me even though this is not my preferred genre. The technical aspects for the first four scenes were handled nicely, the ladies generating a degree of warmth and displaying their myriad of sexual skills in various ways, the ending amount of Asian fuck for the buck definitely a plus in my book. In short, Jack's Asian Adventure 4fit in well with the previous volumes of the popular series, Asa, Lana, Naomi and Jessica complimenting Shay very well indeed so check it out.
