Extras: For those of you new to William's awesome body of work, the best extra will be the 31:18 minute long bonus scene from Swimsuit Calendar Girls 1 starring Eva Angelina and Mark Ashley as described below. There was also a 10:25 minute long Behind the Scenes feature that included a lot of extra nudity and commentary by the cast, the ladies enjoying their profession from what I could tell but making me want to see more of Alexis Texas. Audio/Video Quality: Swimsuit Calendar Girls 2 was presented in the usual 1.33:1 ratio full frame color as shot by director William H. Nutsack for Elegant Angel using the high definition VC-1 codec with 1080p resolution. The camera work was solid with plentiful lighting to eliminate grain, video noise and shadows and the picture appeared to be crisp this time. The editing by Robert Laplanc was a bit too abrupt at times, never allowing the camera to linger long enough for the tease to set in or a position to work as well for me but that is directly related to personal taste so you may want to see for yourselves what I mean. I saw no compression artifacts (it was largely falling around the middle 16.4 Mbps video bitrate; on the low end for HD but probably needed given the amount of material on the DVD) and the composition of the camera angles strongly favored the female performers as most of her work these days tends to do. The 2.0 Dolby Digital English track was pretty basic with little separation or dynamic range yet I could hear the cast well enough in most cases. For those keeping track, the audio was offered in a 192 Kbps offering with a 48 kHz sampling rate, plenty of room considering how little took place on it but leaving room for future efforts too, at least Nutsack providing another cute ditty for the ending credits, his infamous "Beach Girl" ditty.

Body of Review: William H. Nutsack is currently the most prolific director over at Elegant Angel and given his record from the last couple of years, this is a wise business decision on the part of company owner Patrick Collins. William is a bit nutty and perverted but he turns out great fuck flicks starring some of the hottest ladies working in porn when the movies are shot. His latest release is Swimsuit Calendar Girls 2 Blu-ray, the sequel to the highly strokable Swimsuit Calendar Girls 1 that came out last year just a bit too late to capitalize on the Sports Illustrated swimsuit edition being sold but the marketing faux pas was not repeated this year as the oiled up hotties we have all been waiting for pranced about as if they were on the prowl for cock. With five solid scenes containing lots of tease, a bit of rough sex fans seem to appreciate, and heated chemistry in most cases, the movie was indicative of why the company won the coveted 2008 Adult Studio of the Year award from Xcritic, picking up scores of awards from other venues as well. There is just something magical about the way the scenes were shot and who was in them that lent itself to praise as far as I was concerned. Here's a brief look at the scenes by cast and action, noting that no condoms were used for those still interested:

In short, Swimsuit Calendar Girls 2 was not quite as starlet driven as Swimsuit Calendar Girls 1 had been but I really could not fault Nutsack for the manner in which he directed all of them this time, his closing song again very cute.While I would have greatly appreciated a widescreen approach to the show, the clarity of the Blu-ray offering was just too sweet to ignore, Elegant once again proving that HD can look best with ample lighting, a great cast, and a director focused on doing the best job possible.
