The Movie:

Canadian born Sophia Santi's star is definitely on the rise in the world of porn these days, and it's no wonder... I mean, look at her. She's a stone cold fox. Now, Sophia doesn't really seem too interested in doing dudes on camera and it's obvious that she enjoys the company of other ladies so don't expect to see her doing anything with any of the guys this time around, but she does star in three of the six scenes on the disc alongside some very talented and beautiful female co-stars.

Here's a rundown of who fucks who and who they do it:

Scene 1 - Sophia Santi And Kimberly Kane: Sophia's just hanging out in bed eating candy when Kimberly walks in on her. The two chat for a bit and then before you know it, they've busted out a dildo and are sharing it with one another, teasing the camera by licking it and what not. All in all, this disc is a winner. The sex is hot and varied enough that it never gets repetitive. Sophia Santi's fan base will enjoy seeing her in three very good scenes here while the guy-girl material that's also included here makes for a very good mix.

Sophia Santi: Erotique looks very good in this 1080p AVC 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. There's a good amount of detail present not only on the performers but also in the sets and backgrounds/sets used in the production. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction and skin tones look excellent throughout. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot just a hint of shimmer here and there but you do have to be looking for it to notice it. That said, be wary going in if you have an aversion to filtering, as a fair bit of it has been done here to give the film a very specific look (very common with a lot of Celeste's work for Digital Playground, it seems). It works, and it makes for a very pretty picture, but it might irk those who want their detail unobscured and their porn shot under harsh lighting.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this Blu-ray release is a 48 kHz 448 kbps Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine but it isn't as impressive as the transfer is. Dialogue stays clean and clear throughout and the levels are all properly balanced. The score sounds good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. The audio here won't blow you away but it certainly won't disappoint you either even if there isn't a whole lot of rear channel action worth noting.

Extras:

A quick nine minute behind the scenes featurette is the only real extra on this disc. Check it out for some footage of the girls goofing around on set and prepping for their scenes. At this point, if you've seen one Digital Playground making off you're going to know exactly what to expect, and while more footage of Ms. Santi and company is always welcome, there's really no substance to any of this.

Final Thoughts:

All in all, this is pretty steamy stuff. The focus is a bit slanted towards the girl on girl scenes but there's a nice mix of performers and sex acts in here and we all know that variety is the spice of life. Nicely shot with some top notch art direction, this is a very good looking disc and while it might play it fairly safe, as Digital Playground titles are apt to do, it's edge enough to have some serious spark and despite the lack of any substantial extras, it comes recommended.
