The Movie:

Digital Playground seems intent on releasing all of the Stoya footage they can these days and you can't really blame them - the girl has got it going on and is a true, natural beauty. The storyline, such as it is, allows Stoya to essentially play herself as she explores her feelings on love and sexuality with a couple of different partners. This has a bit of a trickledown effect and subsequently affects a few others in the cast, but again, it's really not all that interesting. Thankfully the sex makes up for that, as it's quite hot and beautifully shot exhibiting those typically lush Digital Playground production values and looking ever so slick.

Perfect Picture looks very good in this 1080p AVC 1.85.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer. Colors are strong here and skin looks like skin, there are no orange or hot looking hues here as seems to be fairly common in HD porn. Everything looks quite nice and natural. There's an insane amount of detail present not only on the performers but also in the sets and backgrounds/sets used in the production. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction and skin tones look excellent throughout. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot just a hint of shimmer here and there but you do have to be looking for it to notice it.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this Blu-ray release is a 48 kHz 448 kbps Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine but it isn't as impressive as the transfer is and it'd be nice to see Digital Playground embrace lossless audio on their Blu-ray releases. Dialogue and music both stay clean and clear throughout and the levels are all properly balanced. The score's resonance and bounce sounds good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. The audio here won't blow you away but it certainly won't disappoint you either even if there isn't a whole lot of rear channel action worth noting.

Extras:

As seems to be the norm with their Blu-ray releases, Digital Playground has supplied only one real extra, and it's a ten minute behind the scenes piece. In addition to some behind the scenes clips, many of which are hardcore, we get quick interviews with Cassia Riley, Madison Ivy, and very briefly with Stoay herself, though she spends most of the time here hanging out in the background and goofing off with Robby D..

Motion menus, a bunch of Digital Playground trailers (in HD), a still gallery, contact info, and scene selection round out the supplements on this release.

Final Thoughts:

Stoya Perfect Picture doesn't have much going for it in the story department but it does feature the cover girl in three hot scenes and as such her fans are going to want to check it out. It'd have been nice to spice things up with maybe some girl on girl action but that didn't happen, so keep that in mind when sorting out your kinks as you pick something to watch but otherwise this is a nice release all around and it comes recommended.
