Barely Legal #99 looks good in this 1080p AVC 1.78.1 anamorphic widescreen transfer save for the fact that much of it looks very hot and over lit, which reduces detail in some shots. There aren't any issues at all with compression artifacts or edge enhancement while color reproduction looks okay even if and skin tones are way too orange. Eagle-eyed viewers may spot just a hint of shimmer here and there but you do have to be looking for it to notice it. If this weren't so hot looking, it's be a good transfer but yeah, it's problematic in that so much of the detail just disappears under the light and the girls all look like they fell asleep in the tanning bed.

Sound:

The sole audio track on this Blu-ray release is a 48 kHz 448 kbps Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo Surround Sound mix in English. The audio on this release is fine but it isn't as impressive as the transfer is. Dialogue stays clean and clear throughout and the levels are all properly balanced. The score sounds good and there aren't any problems with background hiss or distortion at all. The audio here won't blow you away but it certainly won't disappoint you either.

Extras:

The only really substantial extra on this release is a Behind The Scenes (20:04) featurette. It's worth a watch if you dug the feature as it contains some interviews with the girls, starting with Leslie and Angel from the first scene, who treat us to a nice look at their gorgeous natural tits. They're also kind enough to strip and spread, giving us a look at the goods. Jackie Daniels is also interviewed, in the nude as it should be, and she also does a very nice job of showing off her great body for the camera. She's got a gorgeous face too - this girl should be a bigger star than she is, but all things in due time, right? Natalie talks to the camera a bit and strips before we get a look at Lana who follows suit. Tatiana closes it all off by fingering herself a little bit for us. Aside from that, there's also a quick, five minute documentary that gives a very brief history of the infamous Barely Legal series of movies entitled Barely Legal: How It All Began, which has been included on all of the recent releases in the line.

Final Thoughts:

Hustler's Blu-ray debut of Barely Legal #99 is a good thing if you're into petite types and natural cuties. They've been working this line long enough now that they're not going to break the mould, rather they stick to the tried and true formula that's made the series the success that it is. It's not overly kinky and it plays things pretty safe but it delivers some nicely shot sex footage and features an excellent cast of top tier talent. As such, it's recommended.
