Chapter 1 - Cindy: This first scene starts off with a quick intro from Cindy who introduces herself in her black cocktail dress. This shot on digital video production looks pretty clean presented here in a reasonably stable widescreen 1.78.1 presentation. There is some mild edge enhancement in a couple of spots and a considerablye amount of mpeg compression evident throughout in the darker scenes. Skin tones look nice and natural, the compositions are dead on, and aside from the fact that this digital video production looks like a digital video production and as such suffers from the minor defects usually associated with the format, everything looks as good as you’d realistically expect it to. It should be noted that there’s an annoying THIRDWORLDXXX.COM video bug in the lower left hand corner of the screen throughout the entire feature.

Sound:

The Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround track is quite sufficient. The dialogue comes through cleanly and clearly as do all of the moans and groans. There is no background music used anywhere during the feature aside from the opening credits and the levels do tend to fluctuate quite a bit from scene to shining scene but aside from that there isn’t much to whine about here. The audio is fine.

Extras:

We get some trailers for other related titles, a pop shot recap, and a still gallery as well as menus and scene selection. Not a particularly impressive array of supplements, really. Want to know the worst part though? There are ads for the studio’s website that pop up between scenes.

Final Thoughts:

The first scene and the last scene in i>Third World Amateurs: Philippines 2are worth seeing but the three in the middle, that make up the bulk of the running time, are filler. If you’re a big fan of Asian amateurs you might want to rent this, otherwise there are better things to spend your money on and you can safely skip it.
