When one thinks of a thick lube they often get terrible ideas--- petroleum jelly, K-Y jelly, and coconut oil, all of which are absolutely the wrong choices for sex lubricants. Petroleum jelly is not good for your bits and can clog pores and cause infections. It is also damaging to condoms. One thing I found a bit odd about this Jelle product was the inclusion of stevia extract, which is a natural alternative sweetener, but turns out, also has skin care benefits. I think it’s the stevia that gives this a vaguely sweet flavor when you lick it. It’s not marketed as edible/flavored, I’m just a weirdo and had to lick it--- this has been my excuse for many things in life.

A four ounce flip-top squeeze tube is very reasonably priced at $11. Be sure to close the cap before it gets lost amongst your rumpled bedclothes etc during sexy time. You really don’t want anyone rolling over on it and wasting all your lube and making your sheets goopy. You should mess up your sheets the fun way instead-- but in the event that there is a lube mishap, this stuff doesn't stain and wipes clean. It contains no fragrances, parabens, glycerin, or propylene glycol-- all of which are things that are not great for sensitive skin.
