Anal sex all the rage these days in porn, a great many movies advertising how much backdoor action the ladies do as a means of getting your hard earned dollars.  As with all things, certain experts in the field have risen above the crowd, including Tristan Taormino, the media darling of all things anal.  Tristan has directed a handful of movies over the years, currently doing a educational series for Vivid-Ed but initially breaking onto the scene with an anal exploratory piece that tried to let women know it was okay to enjoy anal sex.

As Tristan's star has risen on her expanding resume of sexual knowledge, devices named after her have become in vogue too, her initial offering being an anal plug years ago now finding an updated tenth anniversary edition release with the Tristan's Anniversary Plug sold by Babeland.  As seen in the pictures, the plug has a pretty wide "head" to insert in your rectum, the tapered portion allowing it to stay in place until you are ready to remove it.  As with all things sexual, not every toy will fit every person, this one measuring about 3" by 1.75" with a "stem" that just did not quite accomodate my tester Cary. 

Oh, she praised the advertised fact that it was made out of medically safe silicone instead of one of the many generic substances that are not phathalate free but she also hated the plastic bag with stapled Babeland paper that it came in (I believe her exact words were "how fucking cheap looking is that?!? What a way to treat Tristan!").  Considering the price is just shy of $50, the black and blue device really should get better marketting than that.  There was nothing in the packaging to state whether it came from China (or Timbuktoo for that matter), nor to certify the material claims made on the website, leaving those nagging doubts lingering when it came time to write this admittedly short review.

In terms of using an anal plug overall, Cary finds it helps fill her up to make vaginal orgasms better, occasionally having one based on the toy play alone.  This one was not quite right for her in terms of size (she needed a longer stem apparently) and while she graciously offered to test it out on yours truly, I'm still sore from her last attempts at advancing my sexuality.  On the bright side, she gave me permission to allow Tristan herself access to my private parts gee thanks!) for future testing purposes without me having to "let her" work with the Mighty Evan Stone or similarly equipped porn maestro but ultimately, you might want to look into the combination kit the company offers for more enjoyment (including the DVD on anal sex fulfillment). 

Toys are one of the most personal tastes in porn and given the hush hushed tones of many when it comes to anal sex, this kind of device is perhaps the most personal of all so one look at the anal plug and you will likely know if it is right for you.  Still, without batteries or other aspects to "review" in depth, I hope you find what you're looking for; even if not this one, you will find few places better than Babeland for depth and breadth of selection in such toys.
